NTAP is on a mission to accelerate the discovery of useful therapies for people with cutaneous and plexiform neurofibromas… and we know these discoveries will impact an even wider field of NF1 and Ras-related diseases.
In NTAP’s first decade we have literally changed the field: we are a top source of international funding, a driver of new collaborations between industry and academics, a convener of world-class scientists, and we have seeded of a new generation of leaders. Our funding and oversight helped to insure that the clinical trial for what became the first approved therapy for NF1 happened in record time. At NTAP we have built the tools, models, and data necessary for new discoveries and we have made them available for free in almost all situations.
Now at the beginning of our second decade, we are dedicated to continuing the work and enlarging the field. We are looking for new industry and academic collaborators. We extend a enthusiatic welcome to all people who of any background, age or experience that are interested in exploring the ever-expanding critical role RAS plays in so many cancers and in NF1.
